Big Day of Galungan and Kuningan

Apparently the island where I live is one of popular destinations for tourists. So popular than sometime I doubt many people do not realize that Bali is only one of over 15 thousands island in Indonesia. Bali is not only famous for the beach, but also the Hindu, traditions and culture that makes her unique. I mean, beach is always beautiful but the beach mixes with Balinese that make the spirit. Balinese are open and friendly. They are famously have high tolerance and able to accept the difference that changes the face of Bali over the years. 

I love the way Balinese accept the diversity in their everyday life. We just celebrate our Galungan and Kuningan last week. If you happened to be in Bali during the last 10 days, you will be able to see all the pendjor (it's a long stick bamboo , crowded with coconut leaves ornament and beautifully shaped as a lantern) along the road. They are a must at the front of every Balinese house. Make you feel like a welcomed guest as you go along the roads.
